Adani Electric workers continue working without protective gear during Corona pandemic

Workers of Adani Electric were filmed by Union member, working without any protective gear on. Three hours later the same set of workers were filmed (after the first video went viral) by company officials. Surprisingly, now they have protective gear on and had a different story to tell about the absence of the gear earlier- perhaps in fear of losing their daily wages and jobs. We urge organisations and companies to ensure workers' safety during the Corona pandemic. Stand together in the fight against COVID-19.
