Aligarh, September 22: National competition for a place at one of India’s best universities is fierce, but Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has again been chosen as one of the best public universities of the country. The India Today-Mudra Survey, 2018 has ranked AMU as the fifth best Indian Government University.
“It is a moment of pride and joy for the whole AMU fraternity,” said AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor while congratulating the University faculty members, students and researchers.
Expressing happiness on the achievement, the Vice Chancellor further said that AMU’s rank proves that the University is producing the best of research, quality publications, IPR and patents.
AMU has also been ranked among top universities by prominent agencies such as the QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
