Sahitya Akademi Award winner K P Ramanunni donated a part of his prize money to Junaid’s family. The Malayalam novelist won the award for his book Daivathinte Pusthakam. Speaking to Indian Cultural Forum the writer explains why he choose to dedicate his award prize to the family of the16-year old teenager who was lynched last year by Hindu fanatics.
