Today June 30 a multi-city protest against the mandatory insistence on the Aadhar Card will be held in eight cities.
Social Media Campaign: Protesters will get together and tweet @UIDAI using hashtag #UIDAIAnswerUs asking UIDAI to engage in conversation with us and answer questions on the enormous harassment Aadhaar is causing us with its coercion.

TMC protests against AadharProtesting citizens are citizens concerned about the Unique Identification or Aadhaar project.
They have raised the critical issue which is that they believe that the project is unconstitutional, technically flawed, and violates our fundamental rights and civil liberties.
The demand:s of the protesters:
1) Government stop mandatory use of Aadhaar and withdraw notifications making Aadhaar mandatory for any government benefits, subsidy, or services, first stopping forcing this on children's welfare and education schemes.
2) Stop commercial use of citizens' biometrics data.
3) Allow Rajya Sabha amendment for an "Opt Out" of Aadhaar, if a citizen so wishes, and get all stored biometrics data and authentication records deleted.
