At an event in Pune, eminent citizens and journalists like Teesta Setalvad, Swami Agnivesh, Niranjan Takle and justice Sawant gathered on February the 17th, 2019 to discuss the challenges facing India in the run up to the general election 2019. Introductory remarks bravely held up a mirror to the entire country and set the tone for the discussions to follow by saying that like the unfortunate killing of soldiers in Pulwama , mob lynchings and communal violence also threaten the lives of Indian citizens.
