Midwife Modi Mishandled Delivery, Killed My No-Pain-All-Gain Demonetisation Scheme, claims Anil Bokil

When PM Narendra Modi announced his government’s decision to demonetise Rs. 1000 and Rs 500 notes on November 8, Pune resident Anil Bokil was quick to claim credit for having provided the inspiration for the scheme.

Bokil has claimed that the prime minister was so enthused with his idea that the 9-minute appointment granted to him in July had stretched to two hours.

But with the scheme causing untold suffering to millions across the country, Bokil has now claimed in an interview to Mumbai Mirror that the current mess was the result of a “selective” implementation of his idea. Bokil also told the Mumbai Mirror he was on his way to Delhi for a fresh meeting with the PM but the daily could not confirm the same with the PMO.

Bokil told the Mirror his think tank had proposed a comprehensive 5-point plan of action which were as follows:

1: Complete abolition of taxes, direct and indirect by the Central or State governments and also the local bodies.

2: The taxes to be replaced with Bank Transaction Tax (BTT), wherein every inward bank transaction would attract a levy (say about two per cent). It would be a single point tax deducted at source. The deducted amount would go into the government kitties at various levels (Centre, State and Local, broken up in perhaps a ratio of 0.7 per cent, 0.6 per cent and 0.35 per cent, respectively). The concerned bank will also get a share of say another 0.35 per cent. Of course, the BTT rate would be decided by the finance ministry and Reserve Bank of India.

3: Cash transactions (withdrawals) would not attract tax.

4: All high denomination currency (anything above Rs 50) to be withdrawn.

5: Government to create legal provision to restrict cash transactions to Rs 2,000.

According to Bokil, if all these were done together, it would have not only benefitted the common man but also changed the system completely. He lamented the fact that selectively plucking just two out of this 5-point plan by the Modi government has resulted in the “death [of the plan] we are witnessing”.

At the stroke of midnight on November 8, 86% of the value of Indian currency in circulation ceased to be a legal tender. Many different adjectives are being used to qualify the action – surgical strike, master stroke, third freedom (after freedom from British and license raj), 'Massive swachh abhiyan' and so on.

Though the government and even the RBI vehemently defend demonetization, its implementation is continuously taking a toll on the common masses. Citizens are put into extreme hardships. The past few days are witnessing a total lack of preparedness by banks and post offices. They lack the institutional capacity to deal with such a huge magnitude of workload. Hoards of people began to throng banks and ATMs leading to chaos and aggression. People are starting to break open shops for food as cash is not available to buy essential things.

Nearly 50 Lakh have so far viewed Kejriwal’s Damning Speech on Demonetisation

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal’s blistering attack on the Modi government’s demonisation has already grabbed nearly half a million pair of eyeballs.

Fifty lakh people have lakh people have so far viewed Arvind Kejriwal’s Assembly speech on demonetisation on social media platforms, according to a press statement issued by the party.

“AAP Facebook Page saw organic growth of about 640% in the week of Demonetisation and Arvind Kejriwal's response to it”, the report adds.

सरकार के दावे की खुली पोल, आतंकियों के पास मिले नए नोट

जम्मू। केंद्र सरकार ने 8 नवंबर को देश में 500 और 1000 के नोटबंद करने की घोषणा की थी। सरकार की तरफ से इसे आतंकियों पर लगाम लगाने के लिए जरूरी बताया गया था। सरकार के लोगों ने दावा किया था कि नए नोट लागू करने से आतंकियों के पास पुराने नोट की वैल्यू खत्म हो जाएगी। जिससे आतंकवाद पर लगाम लगाने पर मदद मिलेगी। लेकिन नोटबंदी के सिर्फ चौदह दिनों के भीतर ही मुठभेड़ में मारे गए आतंकियों के पास से नए 2000 के नोट मिलने से सरकार के सामने बड़ी चुनौती खड़ी हो गई है।

जम्मू कश्मीर के बांदीपोर इलाके में मंगलवार सुबह सुरक्षाबलों के साथ मुठभेड़ में मारे गए दो आतंकियों के पास से 2000 रुपए के नए नोट बरामद हुए हैं। इसके अलावा उनसे करीब 15 हजार रुपए की नकदी और गोला-बारूद भी मिला है।

आतंकियों के पास 2000 के नोट मिलने से सुरक्षाबलों के लिए नई चुनौती खड़ी हो गई है। अब इस बात पर सवाल उठने लगे हैं कि हाल ही जारी की गई नई करेंसी इन आतंकियों के पास कैसे और कहां से आई?

मंगलवार को जम्मू-कश्मीर के बांदीपुरा जिले में सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकवादियो के बीच जबरदस्त मुठभेड़ हुई। इस मुठभेड़ में सुरक्षाबलों ने दो आतंकियों को मार गिराया। यह मुठभेड़ मंगलवार सुबह बांदीपोर इलाके में हुई। करीब 2 घंटे तक चली मुठभेड़ में दो आतंकियों को मार गिराया गया।

इस मुठभेड़ के बाद पूरे इलाके में तनाव पैदा हो गया। स्थानीय लोगों ने नारेबाजी करते हुए सुरक्षाबलों पर पथराव शुरु कर दिया। हिंसक भीड पर काबू पाने के लिए पुलस को भी बल प्रयोग करना पडा। प्रशासन ने एहतियातन पूरे इलाके में धारा 144 लागू कर दी है।

सवाल ये है कि ये नए नोट आतंकवादियों के पास कहां से आए? इस बीच केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने जम्मू कश्मीर में बैंक लूटे जाने की वारदात पर रिपोर्ट मांगी है। बता दें कि नोटबंदी के बाद से जम्मू कश्मीर में बैंक लूटने की अभी तक तीन वारदात हो चुकी हैं।

Modi ji, you ‘sacrificed’ everything for the RSS, not the nation

In an emotional stunt, Prime Minister Modi on November 10 said in Goa that he left his house, family and everything for nation, in an attempt to answer people who were doubting his intention behind the sudden demonetisation.

He wanted to make a point that he is a proper statesman and for the first time made an emotional appeal to the public. Going far in his eloquent address, he tried to make people believe that he sacrificed for the betterment of nation.

No doubt, Modi is a determined and committed individual who has achieved the present feat due to his dedication. But how far it is true that he sacrificed everything for the sake of country is a question, answer to which can be only found after analysing the time and circumstances when Modi actually left his family, and everything else which he now claims to have left behind.

Being a full-time RSS pracharak, Modi did not live with his wife Jashodaben after marriage in 1968 . The couple lived together for three months, after which Modi left home to travel across India, journeying as a 'sanyasi', as he described it to his family. After a period of three years, Modi stopped visiting his wife and family, as he got involved in his work as a RSS pracharak.

So, if this was the reason that he left everything nearly five decades before, then where does the sacrifice for nation arise? If this sacrifice would have been for the sake of nation then either he would have joined army or would have started any revolutionary act. He became sanyasi and was following RSS agenda or propagation of its ideology, which is not by any stretch of imagination a service to the nation but to the RSS.

Therefore when our Prime Minister says he sacrificed everything for the country, then either he is lying or he is making citizens believe that service to RSS is equivalent to serving the country.

To serve the country, there is no need to leave the family. Otherwise, there will remain no 'true' statesmen in India. What about those who are working for the betterment of nation and also take care of their family responsibilities? For me, army men are true statesmen who guard borders, even as they take care of their family, communicate with them on phone and visit them too.

Man trampled to death outside ATM in Uttar Pradesh

65-year-old man was trampled to death outside a bank while standing in a queue to withdraw cash, police said on Tuesday.

Ramnath Kushwaha, a resident of Gulriha village, was caught in a stampede outside the State Bank of India branch on Monday. He was trampled by a crowd who had gathered to withdraw cash, SP Mohd Imran said.

He had gone to withdraw money to make payments to a hospital where his pregnant daughter-in-law has been admitted, the officer said.

Kushwaha was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, the SP said.

अमेरिका में एक मुस्लिम अमेरिकी महिला ने स्थानीय चुनाव में जीत दर्ज की है। महिला के माता-पिता भारत और पाकिस्तान से हैं।

महिला ने अमेरिकी राज्य मेरीलैंड में जीत दर्ज की है, जहां प्रवासी-विरोधी और मुस्लिम विरोधी बयानबाजी का बोलबाला था। राहीला अहमद (23 साल) ने लंबे समय से प्रशासन संभाल रहे व्यक्ति को 15 फीसदी वोटों के अंतर से हराते हुए मेरीलैंड के प्रिंस जॉर्ज काउंटी में स्कूल बोर्ड की दौड़ जीत ली है।

वह इसी पद पर चार साल पहले 2012 में चुनाव हार गईं थी। राहीला के पिता भारत के हैं और उनकी मां पाकिस्तान से हैं। इनकी जीत को इसलिए भी बड़ी मानी जा रही है क्योंकि इस जिले की 80 फीसदी आबादी अफ्रीकी-अमेरिकी है।

भाषा की खबर के अनुसार, अहमद को रिपब्ल्किन राष्ट्रीय समिति के पूर्व अध्यक्ष माइकल स्टील ने समर्थन दिया था। अहमद ने कहा, ‘‘यह दिलचस्प बात है कि जिस दिन डोनाल्ड ट्रंप राष्ट्रपति चुने गए, उसी दिन मैं, एक हिजाबी युवा महिला भी, एक सावर्जनिक कार्यालय में सेवा के लिए चुनी गई। यही अमेरिका के लोगों के विचारों की विविधता के बारे में बताता है और यह भी कहता है कि अमेरिकन स्वप्न अभी भी अच्छी स्थिति में है और जिंदा है।

ये है एमपी की स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का हाल, कचरे के रिक्शे में पोस्टमार्टम के लिए ले जानी पड़ी लाश

नई दिल्ली। कब तक गरीब लोग प्रशासन की लापरवाही को झेलते रहेंगे। कुछ दिन पहले दाना मांझी जैसे केस में भी प्रशासन की लापरवाही देखी गई थी। उस खबर के बाद ना जाने कितनी ही ऐसी खबरे सामने आ चुकी है जो प्रशासन की पोल खोलती दिखती है।

ऐसा ही मामला मध्य प्रदेश के छतरपुर में सामने आया है। जिसमें प्रशासन की अनदेखी का मामला दिखा है। बता दें कि एम्बुलेंस न मिलने पर एक युवक को अपने भाई का शव कचरा और कबाड़ ढोने वाले रिक्शे में रखकर पोस्टमार्टम कराने ले जाना पड़ा। इसके साथ ही वह वापस घर भी शव को उसी रिक्शे में लाया।

क्या है मामला
बता दें कि छतरपुर शहर के सिटी कोतवाली थाना क्षेत्र के बसारी दरवाजा संकटमोचन मार्ग पर देर रात 25 वर्षीय गफ्फार S/O बहादुर खान की मौत हो गई थी। लेकिन जब सोमवार सुबह सफाईकर्मी सफाई कर रहे थे, तो तिराहे पर दुकान के चबूतरे पर मृतक का शव पड़ा मिला।

इस मामले कि जानकारी लोगों ने इसकी जानकारी पुलिस को दी। हालांकि पुलिस मौके पर पहुंच गई थी, लेकिन उसे पोस्टमार्टम के लिए ले जाने के लिए एम्बुलेंस नहीं मिली। बता दें कि पुलिस की प्रारंभिक जांच में खुलासा हुआ है युवक शराब पीने का आदी था। शायद किसी वाहन की टक्कर के बाद वो चबूतरे पर बैठ गया होगा। गहरी चोट और ठंड के कारण उसकी मौत हो गई।

मृतक के भाई के मुताबिक
मृतके के भाई का कहना है कि, हम सुबह 6 बजे से 11 बजे तक एम्बुलेंस का इंतजार करते रहे, लेकिन किसी ने मदद नहीं की। तब हम रिक्शे में भाई का शव पोस्टमार्टम के लिए ले गए। वापस भी रिक्शे पर लाए।

मामले पर CMHO का कहना
पूरे मामले पर CMHO वीके गुप्ता ने एम्बुलेंस न मिलने के सवाल पर दो टूक कहा कि, शहर क्षेत्र में यह व्यवस्था नगरपालिका की है। जिला अस्पताल का इसमें कोई रोल नहीं है। उनके पास शव वाहन नहीं है।
