BJP MLA Raja Singh allegedly copies Pak song to honour Indian Soldiers!

Telangana MP Raja Singh landed in some unexpected hot water when a song that he claimed he had composed in honour of our defence forces turned out to sound a bit like a Pakistani song. On April 12, Singh released on twitter a short video clip of himself recording the song.

The song clip quickly drew the attention of many Twitter users in Pakistan who claimed that it was a copy of a song celebrating Pakistani defence forces that was released on March 23 on the occasion of Pakistan Day.

In fact, Major Generel Asif Gafoor, who is the spokesperson for the Pakistani armed forces responded to the tweet from his personal twitter account saying, “Glad that you copied. But copy to speak the truth as well.”

But, Raja Singh remained defiant and insisted Pakistan had copied his song!

In fact, Singh also told the Times of India, “I didn’t even hear that song. How will I know what those guys had composed? Maybe they copied my song as we compose song months before Ram Navami every year.”
Raja Singh, who has been in the news for making statements that allegedly incite socio-cultural turbulence, is the BJP MLA from Telangana.
