Speaking during an emergency session of the Delhi assembly, Kejriwal said, “This is for the first time in independent India that a prime minister’s name has cropped up in the list of black money.”

Among the documents presented by Kejriwal to substantiate his allegations were the appraisal report of the Income Tax authorities, who had conducted raids at the offices of Aditya Birla Group and Sahara Group in 2013 and 2014 respectively.
According to the appraisal report, Aditya Birla Group had allegedly paid Modi a bribe of Rs 25 crore.

He said, “The Aditya Birla group was raided in October 2013. Income Tax department picks up all the documents… Shubhendu Amitabh was group executive of Birla group… his laptop, Blackberry was checked. One entry was found that stated Gujarat CM Rs 25 crore. Gujarat ke CM ke aage 25 crore and (in) brackets it was written that ‘12 done’ and rest? Gujarat CM kaun the us time…Narendra Modi ji 2012 mein (Who was the Gujarat CM that time, Narendra Modi).”

Meanwhile, renowned Supreme Court lawyer and the head of Swaraj Abhiyan, Prashant Bhushan, too moved the Supreme Court with an application in the apex court alleging a “cover-up” in the wake of raids conducted by the Income Tax Department against Aditya Birla Group companies in October 2013 and on the Sahara India Group premises in November 2014.

On 25 October, Bhushan sent his complaint to all investigating agencies including the Chief Vigilance Commissioner and the two retired judges heading the Special Investigating Team on black money.

Bhushan told Janta Ka Reporter that the details emerging out of the appraisal report on the raids at Sahara Group was far more incriminating against Modi and his party than what the tax authorities discovered during their raids against the Aditya Birla Group.

Documents accessed by Janta Ka Reporter found entries of several payments made to one ‘Modi ji’ and ‘CM Gujarat’ running in crores at several places in the appraisal report. (See images below).
 

On page 89, the report mentions at least eight payments made to ‘Modi ji’ in Ahmedabad via one Sahara employee, ‘Jaiswal ji.’

These payments, totalling Rs 40.10 crore, were made to ‘Modi ji’ by ‘Jaiswal ji’ between 30 October 2013 and 21 February 2014. By then Modi was already the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate and had launched the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections.

On the same page, there are entries of others significant payments made to ‘CM MP,’ ‘CM Chhattisgarh’ and ‘CM Delhi.’

‘CM MP’ was paid Rs 10 crore in two installments through one ‘Neeraj Vashisht’ while payment of Rs 4 crore to ‘CM Chhattisgarh’ was made by ‘Nandi ji.’

‘CM Delhi’ received Rs 1 crore by same ‘Jaiswal’ who had made payment of Rs 40.1 crore to ‘Modi ji’ and ‘CM Gujarat’ on 23 September 2013.

On page 90 of the report, a list of similar payments are outlined, but here ‘Modi ji’ is stated as ‘CM Gujarat’ while the person, who made these payments remained ‘Jaiswal ji.’

On Page 91, other names include one ‘Shaina ji NC,’ who was paid through ‘Uday Ji.’ ‘Ms Shaina NC ji’ is stated to have been paid Rs 4 crore. According to the documents, ‘Shaina ji NC’ was paid Rs 4 crore in four installment between 28 August 2013 and 20 January 2014.

Page 92 has the list of several names, who are yet to be paid their promised amount. The sheet also has a line, which says, ‘Shania NC/Chief of BJP- ask her to help from A.(Advocate) General to withdrawal(close) Bombay case.’

Bhushan said that a senior Income Tax Department official called KB Chowdary was heading the investigation into the payment of black money to ‘Modi Ji’ and other recipients.

He said, “Same Chowdary was appointed to head the Chief Vigiliance Commission, a body that is expected to keep an eye even on the functioning of the CBI. I was informed that he was appointed for this post only because he helped the government to hush up the documents obtained from raids at the offices of Birla and Sahara. This is what prompted me to write to investigating agencies and the Supreme Court.”

All documents accessed by Janta Ka Reporter have four signatures, two being of the witnesses, one IT officer and the last being of the representative of the company, whose premises have been raided.

Speaking exclusively to jantakareporter.com, Gen Singh said, “One thing I have learnt that what any of these politicians say are never meant to be believed. That’s the rule number one in India. Mr Jaitley when he was the defence minister, had told me, ‘why don’t you lower your expectations?’

“We told him that the OROP had only one definition. It had only one calculation. It had only one implication. We reminded him that this was in their election manifesto. To which he said, ‘You see General, all the assurances that politicians give during elections are not meant to be executed.’ What a shameful thing for him to say in front of ten of us. If a responsible minister says this then I have no faith in the political system.”

The armed forces veteran said he was extremely unhappy with the media fraternity for deliberately spreading misinformation to make the central government look good. He alleged that the media had ‘sold their souls’ by their false reporting that the central government had settled the veterans’ demand on the OROP.

He said, “Media is lying and spreading false information on OROP. They have no sense of journalism. If everything is settled, then where is the notification? Where is the letter? So, for media to say that everything is settled is diabolically stupid. If the journalism has gone shallow in the country, if the media is all purchased and bought and they have no character, then that’s how media starts spreading misinformation. Because somebody including the government pays them and controls them. But whether the media cover our agitation or not, we are continuing with best of our determination.”

Singh also said that one of the national newspapers had even refused to carry the advertisements paid for by the ex-servicemen. He lost his cool while recounting that experience.

“Times of India refused to carry our advertisement. I have decided not to request the members of India media. One day when they chase me for interviews, I will tell them to get out of my sight. I don’t want to see your faces.”

Gen Singh, who had earlier accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ‘betraying the very trust of Indian soldiers’ attacked him once again. He said he was surprised that the prime minister, his cabinet colleagues and ‘everybody else’ had time to ‘hold talks with terrorists to broker peace with them’ but they ‘cannot talk to their ‘erstwhile soldiers.’

“Can there be bigger shame than this? ” he asked.

On being asked why he had not sought help from political parties or leaders who sympathised with their cause, Gen Singh said he welcomed support from everybody regardless of the political ideologies they believed in. He, however said that the ex-servicemen will not give them the platform to ‘highjack’ their agenda.

He said, “I welcome support from everybody regardless of political parties they represent. Whether they are Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal or anybody else, they must realise that we can’t allow them to use our mic to highjack our agenda. They are most welcome to come and sit and express their support to our cause. We didn’t allow Rahul Gandhi to speak, neither did we allow Derek O’Brian of TMC or Bhupendra Hooda of Congress.”

The army veteran also revealed that the organisers of the NRI event for PM Modi had approached him to speak from the same stage where the prime minister was scheduled to speak, but he refused because he didn’t ant to insult the Indian prime minister.

He said, “When our prime minister visited USA recently, the chairman of the NRIs group in San Francisco, some chap called Jit Bajwa,  wanted me to come along with the prime minister and speak from the same stage from where Mr Modi was likely to speak. They said they wanted to give us a cheque of 1 million dollar for this agitation. I refused both. I said this was my internal matter and I will resolve within my own country. I will not insult India on foreign soil. We’ve been honourable in our fight. Can the government of India reciprocate by honouring their commitment?”

Gen Singh said there were seven shortccomings in the OROP that the Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had announced on 5 September. He said the OROP with those shortcomings will not be acceptable to soldiers.

” If those shortcomings are not removed and government goes ahead with the notification, it will kill the very definition of One Rank One Pension. It will then be called One Rank Five Pension. Because same years of service and same rank going to be reviewed after five years would mean that there will be five pensions. These politicians and babus so illiterate that they don’t even know that the armed forces don’t have the VRS. We have the premature retirement, which is the requirement of the government. They want to have a young army. Therefore, the soldiers have to leave after 17 years in service.”

जो आसानी से बात समझ जाएं तो ठीक और जिन्हें अब भी नहीं पता कि 26 मई 2014 के बाद देश वाक़ई में बदल चूका है तो एक एमएलए वाली पार्टी के नेता राज ठाकरे और जनता द्वारा चुने हुए मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस जैसे देशभक्ति के ठीकेदार फ़ौरन पांच करोड़ रूपये के जुर्माने या extortion के ज़रिये आपको आपकी औक़ात याद दिला देते हैं।

और बात जब देश भक्ति की हो तो भक्त महाशय उन लोगों को भी नहीं बख्शते जिन्हों ने कभी केंद्र की मोदी सरकार की नीतियों का समर्थन किया था.

अभी दिवाली की मिसाल ले लीजिये। सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक पर छाती (56 इंच की न सही) ठोंक कर मोदी सरकार के समर्थन में वीडियो रिलीज़ करने वाले बॉलीवुड कलाकार अक्षय कुमार ने जब दिवाली में पटाखे न छोड़ने की अपील की तो सोशल मीडिया पर मोदी भक्तों ने उनकी तुलना कुत्ते और गधे से कर डाली।

लेकिन आज देशभक्ति की बात मैं जिस सन्दर्भ में कर रहा हूं वो है फेसबुक का एक ख़ास पोस्ट, जिसे तक़रीबन 6 लाख लोगों ने लाइक्स किया है हज़ारों की तादाद में शेयर किया जा रहा है और कमैंट्स की जैसे बारिश हो रही हैं यहां पर।

इस पोस्ट में जसप्रीत कौर नामी एक महिला ने खून में लतपत इराक में स्थित कुर्दिस्तान के एक सिपाही की तस्वीर डाल कर लोगों को या बताने की कोशिश की है कि ये किसी भारतीय सैनिक की तस्वीर है।

फोटो के साथ पोस्ट होने वाले में मैसेज में कहा गया है , “आज पता चल जाएगा facebook पर कितने देशभक्त हैं ”

मज़े की बात ये है कि किसी भी एक शख्स ने ये जानने की कोशिश नहीं की कि ये सैनिक किसी तरीके से भारतीय नहीं लग रहा है। इसके यूनिफार्म पर जी झंडा है वो लाल, सफ़ेद और हरे का मिश्रण है और इस के बीच बैन अशोकचक्र नहीं बल्कि पीले रंग का कोई और ही निशान है। फौजी के साथ हेलमेट पहने दुसरे शख्स ने अपने गले में एक स्कार्फ़ पहन रखा है जो भारतीय सैनिक नहीं पहनते।

और चूँकि हम जनता का रिपोर्टर पर सबूत के बिना कभी कुछ नहीं कहते तो इस झूठ का सच जानने केलिए देखिये ये ट्वीट। ज़रा दोनों पोस्ट्स की तारीखों पर भी एक नज़र डाल लीजिये तो आपको आपको इस पोस्ट के पीछे छुपे घिनौने मक़सद का भी पता चल जाएगा।

चैंकियेगा मत अगर जसबीर कौर नामी इस महिला का ये पोस्ट बाद में भाजपा के चुनाव पोस्टर्स पर भी आ जाए , इस देश में बेवक़ूफ़ों की कमी नहीं है और शायद इन्ही बेवक़ूफ़ों केलिए मई 2014 के बाद भक्त शब्द का ‘आविष्कार’ हुआ था।

मूर्खों की इसी टोली में महामूर्खों को अंधभक्त कहा जाता है। वैसे इस प्रजाति के लोग हर पार्टी में मौजूद हैं, लेकिन देशभक्ति का ठेका इन दिनों भाजपा समर्थक भक्तों ने उठायी हुई है।

The terror attack in Uri has left Indians shocked and enraged with many demanding firm action against Pakistan. Others on social media have been quick to remind Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighting the perceived hypocrisy in his hawkish approach against the neighbouring country that he adopted during the Lok Sabha elections of 2014.

But the questions seeking to expose Modi’s stand, adopted to win elections, largely remained confined to social media users as none in the mainstream media could muster the courage to put the Centre’s BJP-led government in the dock on what was the worst terror attack for over a decade.

‘Patriots’ amongst us desperately looked at the ‘nationalist’ news channel Times Now to represent general public’s anger on its high-profile debate show Newshour, presented by the nation’s conscience-keeper, Arnab Goswami.
Goswami remained true to himself and did host a special debate show despite it being a Sunday. His guests included the usual suspects, Lt Gen (Retd) Jaiswal, Times Now’s resident expert Maroof Raza, former army general and now the RSS’ posterboy, Maj General GD Bakshi and former India diplomat G Parthasarathy.

The dominating theme of the debate was that India must attack Pakistan without caring much about the nuclear reactions from the neighbouring country!

Another highlight of the debate was a unanimous praise for Narendra Modi government for using the ‘strongest’ condemnation of the terror strike yet.

In Raza’s words, ‘I don’t think that there’s been such clarity of intent (by the central government.)’

But, the killer blow came from Goswami, who blamed the former prime minister, Manmohan Singh, for Uri attack. Yes, you heard it right. According to the nation’s most patriotic journalist, the Uri attack was a fallout of the ‘biggest blunder’ by the former prime minister.

This is what India’s ‘second most popular hero’ after Modi had to say.

“My personal greatest frustration has been with the long-rope theory. And I don’t know why the people, when you say stop engaging with Pakistan, say ‘you are a hawk.’ But Parthasarathy will remember that the greatest mistake Manmohan Singh made was that he went and met Nawaz Sharif for one hour in a New York hotel on 29 September 2013, just days after the twin attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua and Samba.”

Fantastic observation indeed! Many would argue why the Times Now’s editor-in-chief, who had recently received social media roasting for his ‘fixed’ interview with Modi, stopped at Singh. He ought to have blamed all non-BJP prime ministers going as far back as Nehru era for the alarming increase in terror attacks under Modi government. I mean blame everyone except Modi for the present mess.

Goswami also appeared to have forgotten that Pakistan-backed militants had mounted an audacious attack on India’s Air Force base in Pathankot earlier this year. This was barely a week after Modi had chosen to stop over in Lahore to enjoy the birthday bash organised by his Pakistani counterpart, Nawaz Sharif.

For Goswami, this too may have been a diplomatic masterstroke. Of course, Goswami did not find fault in Modi’s foreign policy when he invited the Pakistani delegation consisting of ISI officers to visit the Pathankot air base.
 
Instead of reminding Modi and BJP President, Amit Shah, for their tall claims made against Pakistan during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Goswami made several desperate attempts to exonerate the current prime minister on the Uri attacks on Sunday.

If one ever needed an example of an utterly biased piece of journalism by Goswami on his ‘nation’s favourite channel’, they need not look beyond Sunday’s Newshour debate on the Uri attacks.
