Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, UP’s Dasna Temple priest, has now defended his misogynistic and communal comments made in a video he uploaded on his social media accounts a few days ago.
In that video, he had made deplorable statements like most prostitutes are Hindu women. He had said that they are the ones who fall in love with ‘Jihadi Musalman’ who approach them pretending to be plumbers and carpenters and then blackmail the women into taking up sex work using pictures of private moments.
National Commission for Women (NCW) Chairperson Rekha Sharma had taken action against this video. But, in an interview to Vishal News, Narsinghanand has now questioned Sharma’s action against him and defended his statements. He has also used extremely offensive language against Sharma.
In the interview, he says, “Ye Rekha Sharma kya ye gobar khakar paida hui hai.. Inme buddhi hai ya nahi hai?” (Translation: Was Rekha Sharma born after eating cow dung? Does she have any sense?)
He then goes on to tell the interviewer to put these statements as is, (without editing). This shows the brazenness of this hate monger who wants to be seen insulting the NCW Chief publicly. Interestingly, he says he is fighting for women’s honour.

This is what he has to say about Chairperson Rekha Sharma, National Commission for Women. He also says, ‘don’t cut the part, play this as it is’.
The confidence is because he know there will never be any action against him. pic.twitter.com/47pjIRcYaB— Mohammed Zubair (@zoo_bear) August 30, 2021
