Always having stood for the causes that affect the marginalized the most, they have put forth several demands to ensure that the people who contribute to India’s welfare and economy do not get left out from receiving the benefits they truly deserve. Their demands include – minimum wages of Rs. 21,000 per month with provisions of indexation for all workers, universal social security cover for all workers, no FDI or privatisation in Railways, Insurance and Defence, withdrawal of CAA, NPR and NRC from throughout the country and stopping anti-worker labour law amendments and codification among others.
