Maha CM calls for a major reshuffle in IAS officer posts across the state

Public servants from Nashik, Nagpur, Pune, Panvel and many other areas have been moved around on Friday

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray transferred and appointed many IAS officers on February 12, 2021, including former Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA) Director General Anand Limaye.

While Limaye has been posted as the Additional Chief Secretary in the general administration department (AR&OM) in the Mantralaya, former Settlement Commissioner and Land Records, Director S. Chokalingam, has been posted as YASHADA DG in Pune. Chokalingam’s previous designation was given to N. K. Sudhanshu.

Similarly, former Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar has been posted as Inspector General, Registration and Controller of Stamp in Pune. The new Municipal Commissioner of Pimpri-Chichwad is Odisha cadre IAS officer Rajesh Patil from Jalgaon.

Omprakash Deshmukh was appointed as the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities in Pune. Prerna Deshbhratar, who formerly held this title, was appointed as the Wardha collector.

Dr Madhvi Khode-Chawre became the Vasantrao Naik State Agriculture Extension Management Training Institute (VANAMATI) Director General in Nagpur. In the same district, Manisha Khatri received the title of Tribal Development Additional Commissioner.

Further, Sheetal Ugale-Teli became the district’s Textile Director and Panel’s Indian Air Force Deputy Forest Conservator Land Records Anita Patil was appointed to the vacant post of State Women’s Commission Member Secretary in Mumbai.
