Karachi: A teenage boy from India is languishing in Karachi jail in Pakistan. In a tweet by journalist Beena Sarwar, it came to light that the 17-year-old boy was arrested in 2014 and his sentence ended in May 2015. He is still in Karachi jail, three years after completing his sentence.
The boy seems to be mentally unstable and not able to say much. All he says is that his name is Chevy, son of Lorak and repeats the word ‘Bharat.’ There seems to be no information about his family or residence. He is also suffering from Tuberculosis.
“It is unlikely that the states will be able to confirm his nationality with no leads- requesting friends here to spread the message so perhaps we can use media to highlight his case,” said
