Over 40,000 Farmers in Delhi Against Anti-Farmer Policies of Modi Govt

First it was the workers, now the farmers :  from across the country, farmers have come together in Delhi for a Kisan Sansad (Farmers’ Parliament), demanding their right to livelihood.

87% farmers in India incur losses in agriculture. This country wide agrarian crisis has prompted a massive farmer protest, Kisan Sansad, starting today in Delhi, with farmers coming from across the country.
