Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed a rally in Varanasi, his home constituency. The BJP had made every effort to make his rally and the earlier road show a grand success in light of the reported anger against the prime minister in the Holy city.
However, many people were seen leaving the venue even during the prime minister’s speech.
Janta Ka Reporter had exclusively reported on the anger against the prime minister and the BJP in Varanasi, which gave a historic mandate to Modi in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Many people leaving the rally ground were seen wearing caps with BJP election symbol.
Varanasi goes to polls on 8 March, in the concluding phase of UP polls.
