Pilgrims in Red Attacked by RSS

6 young people visiting the Thalassery Jagannatha Temple were beaten up by RSS because they were wearing red shirts.

6 young people were beaten up while visiting the Thalassery Jagannatha Temple in Kannur District, Kerala. They were visiting the temple with their family. They were beaten up by RSS activists because they were wearing red shirts. A small one-and-a-half-year-old girl was also injured during the attack. The victims of the violence have been admitted to the Thalassery Cooperative Hospital, Kannur.

Tuesday, 14th March, around 10:30 pm, an armed gang of goons surrounded them. They goons said that no one was allowed to enter the temple wearing the red shirts. They pelted stones at women and children paying homage to the temple deity. The police had to lathicharge the goons to restore peace.

RSS’s true face of communal fascism is unveiled again. They attacked innocent men, women and children visiting the Thalassery Jagannatha Temple festival. Around 150 RSS activists attacked them as the police looked on.

Their sensitivity clearly knows no bound! Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha district leader, Lasitha Palakkal mocked the victims. Here is what she wrote on social media.
