“Hamare Baraah”, allowed release after stigma-filled scenes against Muslims & Islam are cut, fine of Rs 5 lakhs imposed: Bombay HC
The controversial film trailer, now with slur-filled scenes removed, attracted a fine. Both the Supreme Court and the Bombay High Court had restrained and suspended the film’s release. Originally set to release on June 7, then on June 14, the film will now release on June 21.
