Camille Bulcke was a Roman Catholic Padri who came to India after leaving his nation. While on Missionary work he did his M.A. from Prayag University. Later he did research work on Sri Ram and obtained his doctorate in Hindi. He gained Indian citizenship in 1951, became a member of the National Commission for the promotion of Hindi as the national language, and wrote the ‘English to Hindi’ Dictionary. He spent his life serving this Hindi Language.

Premchand’s son Amritrai said “I was stunned reading his Ramkatha that in this country crores are worshipping Sri Ram but to create a full complete study on him one Missionary had to come from Belgium. This work is the pride of Hindi Literature.”

Acharya Dhirendra Verma said it is a Dictionary of Ram Katha. Leave Hindi, in no other language such a study on Ramayana is available.

Missionaries do not only run conversion campaigns but also do study and research on Indian Culture. They also serve those sick people in inaccessible forests, hills. However, those who identify themself as RamBhakt beat them and sometimes burn them inside the car with family. Remember Graham Staines?

Neither have they heard of RasKhan (Syed Ibrahim) the Muslim who fell in love with Sri Krishna and began living in Vrindavan and spent the rest of his life serving Sri Krishna.
It is because the ideology they are following is all destruction and about exclusion. Read this, if anywhere in their ideologue’s book you find any inclusiveness.

The diversity and Vibrancy of Ramayana tradition and the character of Sri Ram is vast across countries, languages. This is being used as a political tool and not as a cultural symbol which unites people across different cultures, regions, nations and faith.

Bahar released the song with Santosh Singh Yadav, the writer of the song and a co-curator of the YouTube channel called Janta Musical and Pictures, which produced and directed the video. Bahar’s three-minute-song that went viral on social media, drew the ire of thousands for inciting violence, encouraging mob lynching of minority communities and making exhortations through the lyrics.

Political activist Tehseen Poonawalla took to Twitter to express his anguish over this song and also urged the authorities to act against him. He himself lodged a police complaint with the Delhi Police. In a series of tweets, he wrote, “Dear @DelhiPolice, I am requesting you to file a complaint under IPC 153(a) & 295(a) against the makers of this video. This video incites Mob Violence against the citizens of India. Failure to do so will be contempt of SC (Tehseen Poonawalla vs UoI) @CPDelhi. If a FIR against this hate video makers is not registered by you, I, Tehseen Poonawalla will protest by playing this video outside the residence of hon @PMOIndia shree @narendramodi ji. Kindly take note. Dear @DelhiPolice as per law, I have filed a police complaint & received an acknowledgement from you regarding the above video. I urge you to file a FIR ASAP & take action against the maker of this video, that is misusing the pious slogan ” #JaiShreeRam ” to start #MobLynching.”

Bahar along with Yadav posted another video after the controversies erupted over their song. In the video, he urged right-wing groups like Bajrang Dal and Hindu Yuva Vahini along with political parties like Shiv Sena to help him in the face of the backlash his song had created. Featuring alongside Yadav, Bahar categorically denied that his lyrics were inflammatory and said that the singer did not take names of any religion. “I have not taken the names of any religion here. Media is after my life and is not concerned about content on social media that is much more provocative and vulgar in nature.”

Expressing regret, the singer added that the song was sung in ‘Josh’ and the matter should be put to rest. “I have been singing for last 12 years and have done course in professional singing from Bhatkhande Music University in Lucknow,” he said.

Speaking to media about the singer’s detention, SSP Lucknow Kalanidhi Naithani, said, “The cyber cell of Lucknow alerted us about the provocative video that was uploaded on the YouTube channel owned by Rajesh Verma. He, along with Yadav and a man by the name of Mukesh Pandey, were involved in composing the song with Bahar and have also been detained.”

Further investigations are underway and the police is trying to track down more hate speech content, he said, as he made an appeal to the people to intimate the police immediately if they come across any such inflammatory songs or videos on social media. “This is important as it can hamper the communal harmony of the society,” he added.

A group of men reportedly owing allegience to the RSS stopped a vehicle transporting labour/workmen near the well known famous Madhab Choudhury college at Barpeta and asked them to shout provocative slogans. The incident took place at about 9.30 pm on June 18 while the show went on in the Lok Sabha.

 
Six Muslim youth who were on their way to Nepal to work at company come from Mayenbori, a riverine area of Brahmaputra refused to shout the slogans. They were then beaten up by miscreants. The group of labourer were falsely charged with shouting pro Pakistan (Pakistan Zindabad slogans) which the Muslim youth strongly denied. Later, these reportedly BJP-RSS backed miscreants later on published a video in the Facebook profile of self styled Ram Sena Supremo Yogi Debojit Deka declarations like, ‘today some Bangladeshi Muslim were passing the Barpeta town chanting Pakistan Zindabad slogans. Our Ram Sena sayemsevaks picked them and compelled them to chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’  Today onwards wherever and whenever the Bangladeshi Muslims are found chanting anti-India slogans, thousands of our volunteers will reach there promptly and will compelled them to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans.

 
While Yogi Debojit Deka alleged that the group of Muslim youths were passing Barpeta town chanting Pakistan Zindabad slogans, the viral vidio that he published first, there appears no evidence of chanting Pakistan Zindabad slogans by the Muslim group of labourers. At the same time, the group of Muslim labourers, who Yogi Debojit Deka falsely alleged to be Bangladeshi are not Bangladeshi but indigenous Muslim of Assam, who are inhabitants of the riverine areas of Barpeta District living under extreme poverty. According to the video that was make public by Yogi Debojit Deka, (a self styled supremo of Ram Sena), it appears that a four wheeler vehicle was passing the road and was forcibly stopped by group who then started to rebuke them without any proper reason. They then demanded of the group. “Why did you chant Pakistan Zindabad slogans?” The group of labourers denied having chanted any such slogans against against India. These miscreants then simply started assaulting the workers. The miscreants also searched the bags that the group of labourer were carrying. When they found nothing in their bags, the group of miscreants asked them to chant ‘ Jai Shri Ram’. Initially, the group of labourer denied to do so and for that reason they started to beaten up the group of Muslim labourers once again. Under life threat the group of labourer finally were forced to chant. ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans repeatedly. Then they asked the group to chant ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, which they did promptly. They were also asked then asked to chant ‘India Murdabad’ slogans (a trap), which they refused to do and shouted ‘Bharat Zindabad’ instead. The group of miscreants then asked the group of labourer to chant ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ but they chanted ‘Pakistan Murdabad’ instead. Despite this pathetic show of public coercion, the group of miscreants accused them that they have chanted Pakistan Zindabad and started beating them again. In the meantime someone of the locality came out to the road and shouted at the miscreants. The group of miscreants hurriedly left the spot. Talking the opportunity the group of labourer also returned to their homes. 
 
About one and half hour later at 11.30 pm, Yogi Debojit Deka, uploaded the video and declared their heroic mission through his facebook post. When the facebook post went viral on June 19, the entire state of Assam witnessed massive protest. All democratic and peace loving people of Assam opined that it was the ‘Jai Shri Ram ‘ slogans that chanted by the BJP MPs in parliament encouraged such an cowardice action of BJP-RSS members. AAMSU, Krishak Mukti Sangram Samitee and the victims of the incident lodged separate FIR at Barpeta Police Station on 19th June. Social Media went on viral condemning the barbarian incident. 

 
Finally, it was only in response to the pressure of widespread public opinion that the Barpeta Police, on the evening of June 21, finally arrested Yogi Debojit Deka from just outside Guwahati city. All sections of democratic and peace loving people of the state welcomed this action by the Barpeta Police in booking a criminal case against Yogi Debojit Deka, the self styled supremo of the Ram Sena. At the same time, they are demanding arrest of all other culprits involved in the incident.

A group of cow vigilantes thrashed two meat traders in Malegaon area on suspicion of possessing beef. The incident that happened on Friday saw the men assaulting and abusing them. The whole incident was captured on mobile camera and made available by news agency ANI. In the video, one of the assailants was seen slapping the victim and demanding him to say “jai Sri Ram”. They were later heard talking about taking the victims to the police station.

In Maharashtra, it is illegal to slaughter bulls, bullocks and buffaloes after the state government introduced a ban in 2015. However, it is not illegal to possess meat from the animals. The Bombay High Court in January this year struck down relevant sections of the Maharashtra Animal Preservation (Amendment) Act that prohibited possession of the
meat.
