UP Government SIT recommends closure of 13, 000 Madrasas, alleges unaccounted funding from ‘Gulf’
A three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Uttar Pradesh government has brought about its preliminary report and has stated that there are 13,000 ‘illegal’ madrasas spread across Uttar Pradesh.
