Major protests are taking place against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) nationwide including various parts of Assam like Guwahati, Tezpur, Dibrugarh, Imphal in Manipur and Thrissur in Kerala, since Amit Shah tabled the bill in Lok Sabha. Yet, it seems that the Government refuses to pay any attention to its citizens.
