While, on the one hand, actor-turned-politician Kamal Hasaan referred to Godse as independent India’s first ever terrorist, on the other hand, BJP candidate and terror blast-accused Pragya Thakur has recently gone on record and called Godse a true patriot. This has been on the receiving end of criticism by many, including the BJP itself, which distanced itself from Thakur’s statement.
